I've always wondered about the countless timber-framed houses, ancient gateways, religious buildings, monuments and murals that line the streets of Sélestat.

My father and grandfather, Sélestadiens by birth, passed on to me a whole collection of books and documents on our beautiful town. I was overwhelmed. I was finally able to get to know Sélestat through the ages. Now I'm retired, I've got time for other people. So why not share my knowledge with you ?
